Shadow banned
My readers have dropped from a few thousand to less than a hundred — in one day. I doubt if thousands of people jointly decided to stop reading this blog — in one day. I haven’t received any emails from Google with complaints about wrongthink…and wrong… posting.
I’m not going to get too worked up about it. This is just a minor hobby and I know that confronting Google on their numerous deceptions and dishonesty is pretty much pounding sand. I’ll keep posting here, knowing that considerably less people are exposed to my musings.
A few months ago, posting on YouTube’s comment threads often vaporized. Enough people caught on to that so that’s currently no longer a scheme.
At this point, everyone knows that powerful establishment institutions are biased, by far most of them to the left.
Google’s espoused motto used to be, “Don’t be evil.” At least they were honest enough to take that phony exercise in hypocricy down.

Pete Hegseth and the Department of War
Many have already seen THIS or portions of it. Hegseth and the Trump administration’s new standards for the American military are, of course, controversial. Conservatives are glad to see a return to the practical mission of a formidable defense of the nation. Leftists have an automatic disdain for anything martial…until they seize power. Then, like flag-waving and patriotism, they’re all in. The right does not see a fighting force as adequate when soldiers are fat bearded LGBTQ+@#$&&…devoting their time to Democrat talking points on “climate change” and Marxist victimology.
The bias of this blog is clear. This was an excellent speech and the issues covered were done so in a strait forward way. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, is an excellent speaker. The fact that this often elequent speech was done without the use of a teleprompter or notes is amazing.
Decent and honest people acknowledge that war is a bad thing. It’s destructive, wasteful, and deadly. Innocents are inevitably victims of the wanton chaos that military conflict brings.
While “peace through strength” may have become a somewhat cliche' statement, it remains an accurate strategy for a free nation to conduct its security affairs.
There’s plenty in Hegseth’s speech to anger and repulse those who see little need to defend a nation’s citizens. But, the “god of war” (the archetype of conflict) is a very real thing and it isn’t going to simply disappear because some ideologues hope to wish it away. If the first step is to recognize a perpetual threat of conflict, the second step is to be fully prepared to meet such a challenge with strength and competency. Those so opposed to a robust military defense are the same ones (surprise!) that give common street criminals a pass. Chaos in the city and chaos in the world.
The Trump administration’s retooling of America’s military posture is another positive policy based on a sound awareness of practical reality. The left should go back to basket-weaving.
